I decided for menu and already have drawn a sketch how it will be implemented. Looks neat
Will be available in the next demo version. But next version could be some days since a lot is going on in my life right now.

Will get better. I did not optimize for performance yet. Also there will be some mechanics to reduce unit count over time. Those mechanics will already be present in next demo version.

I am not satisfied with the current building system (click floor and build unit). This looks good at the start, but has several issues. eg.: building during 1on1 at the same device, or very cluttered when enemy army is in your base. An offline campaign is planned to unlock new races.
Most likely there will be a world map where you progress from one point to another.
You will progress from race area to race area (eg human race area, elf area) and you will unlock those races on the way.

Online game is planned as 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3. Standard liga system will be implemented.
If you win, you win points, if you lose you lose points.
Your points define your liga rating and will be used for match making.

During development I will monetize the game with donations.
Depending on how good this works I will have to monetize the game somehow else.
I dont want to make this game monetization focused. This destroys so many good games
